En el contexto de la Edad Media el interés se centra en las convergencias y diferencias entre lo sagrado y lo profano, en la prosa y la lírica del Siglo de Oro se trata la constitución del sujeto y la construcción del yo, mientras que en el teatro se presta atención a la importancia del espacio. Los periodos de transición son objeto de estudio en los siglos XVIII y XIX, las crisis y rupturas lo son en la literatura moderna y contemporánea, y las transiciones, transculturaciones e identidades transitorias vienen tratadas con la atención puesta en Latinoamérica. Además, se incluyen cinco conferencias plenarias y los contenidos de las secciones sobre cine y nuevos medios, sobre historia y cultura entre la participación gubernamental y la oposición, así como sobre la lengua en sus aspectos ideológicos e interactivos. | 520 | |a The two volumes gather the most important findings of the nine sessions held at the Asociación Internacional de Hispanistas (AIH) conference in Münster, Germany, in 2016. The contributions focus, for example, on convergences and divergences between the holy and profane in medieval literature, on the constitution and construction of the "I" in Siglo de oro prose and poetry, or on the importance of space in theatre. Other central topics are transitions (in 18th- and 19th-century literature), crises and disruptions (in modern and contemporary literature), as well as transculturations and transitory identities (in view of Latin America).
