Tumor tissue was assessed for PTEN protein expression using immunohistochemistry on tissue microarrays. All cases were locally H-scored by ETOP pathologists, after having passed a stringent External Quality Assessment, and were centrally analyzed with pixel-based Image-J computer analysis.
