In systemtheoretischer Sicht läßt sich dies als selbstreferentielle Struktur bezeichnen. Die Selbstbezüglichkeit des johanneischen Offenbarungskonzeptes - und die Selbstunterscheidung von der Umwelt im sog. johanneischen Dualismus - bieten also innerhalb des Textes selbst einen Anhaltspunkt dafür, das Johannesevangelium als autopoietisches, d.h. sich selbst konstituierendes System aufzufassen. Nach einer Einleitung zur Anwendung systemtheoretischer Überlegungen auf Texte untersucht die Arbeit: I. Teil: Selbstreferenz II. Teil: Bezugnahmen auf die Zeichenwelt des Judentums III.Teil: Bezugnahmen auf die Lebenswelt IV.Teil: Bezugnahmen auf das christliche Zeichensystem V.Teil: Geliebter Jünger und Paraklet: Die Autopoiesis des johanneischen Zeichensystems | ||
| 520 | |a This dissertation looks at the Gospel of John from the perspective of systems theory. This approach has a base in the text itself because, as Rudolf Bultmann pointed out, what Jesus reveals in John's Gospel is that he is the revealer. In systems theory this is seen as a self-referential structure. The self-reference of the Johannine idea of revelation, as well as the self-differentiation from its surroundings in the so-called Johannine dualism, provide inside the text itself a clue that the Gospel of John functions as an autopoietic or self-constituting system. After an introduction on how systems theory can be used on texts, five major aspects are examined: I. Self-reference II. References to the symbolic universe of Judaism III. References to the lifeworld IV. References to the Christian symbolic universe V. Beloved disciple and Paraclete: the autopoiesis of the Johannine symbolic universe. | ||
