| 520 | |a In questo articolo vengono esaminate sia le istituzioni statali, che hanno il compito politico di normalizzare e standardizzare una lingua nazionale, sia le associazioni (p. e. società linguistiche, associazioni linguistiche e culturali), che se ne occupano senza avere un mandato statale. In questo contesto vengono messe a confronto le accademie linguistiche che da tempo in Italia, Francia e Croazia hanno una forte influenza sull’imposizione delle norme e godono di ampio prestigio se messe a confronto invece con le attività dall’ambizione politico-linguistica di quei paesi, nei quali non esistono istituzioni di questo tipo. Tutte le istituzioni e le associazioni, indipendentemente dalla loro collaborazione con lo Stato o con le Società, hanno in comune la volontà - autoattribuita - di impegnarsi nella cura della lingua nel proprio contesto sociale. | ||
