Die spinale Ischämie (SI) gehört zu den dramatischsten Komplikationen in der Aortenchirurgie. Durch Ausschöpfung spinoprotektiver Maßnahmen ist es heute möglich, die Inzidenz der SI bei ausgedehnten Crawford-II-Eingriffen auf unter 10% zu reduzieren.
