| Zusammenfassung: | The new EMVA standard 1288 facilitates the selection of a suitable camera for users. The theoretical model of this standard shows that the signal to noise ratio is the most important quantity for the sensor quality besides the inhomogeneity parameters. It depends only on the quantum efficiency and the dark noise, if the quantization noise can be neglected. Two simple measuring set-ups are presented which allow to measure all camera parameters according to EMVA1288. Finally, we show how the standard can be extended to non-linear sensors and to time-of-flight camera systems. |
