This position has not just been the result of long-standing discussions about the Journal’s future between Professor Pratap Penumala and me, but it has also been the result of his faith and trust placed in me. I am very grateful for this. I hope Nidān will continue as a space for scholars exploring their intellectual ideas, as well as a space for budding academics seeking independent, intellectual feedback.
