TIPS-Ethynylated naphthodiquinoline and naphthodiacridine: novel diazabisacenes
The synthesis of two diazabisacenes is reported. A bisboronated naphthalene was Suzuki-coupled to substituted ethyl nicotinates, then cyclized by intramolecular Friedel-Crafts acylation.
