Les observations historiques montrent comment la standardisation du français depuis le 15e siècle jusqu’à la deuxième moitié du 20e siècle s’est développée, en se focalisant surtout sur le rôle de l’Île-de-France. L’article se concentre sur le 17e et 18e siècle, au cours desquelles le bon usage à la cour était prépondérant. Les explications concernant le temps présent portent sur les domaines du lexique, de l’orthographe et de la grammaire. L’article énonce les acteurs ainsi que les moyens de la réalisation des processus de standardisation, tant pour les analyses diachroniques que synchroniques. | ||
