| 520 | |a Diese querschnittlich angelegte Studie unternimmt den Versuch, Effekte von Religiosität/Spiritualität (Zentralität der Religiosität und Spiritual Struggles) auf psychische Belastung wie auch Wohlbefinden von Seelsorger:innen in der Schweiz und in Deutschland während des Lockdowns von März bis Juni 2020 im Zuge der COVID-19-Pandemie zu untersuchen. Auf Grundlage einer Adaptation des Vulnerabilitäts-Stress-Modells haben wir Strukturgleichungsmodelle (SEMs) erstellt, um die Effekte von Religiosität/Spiritualität auf psychische Belastung und Wohlbefinden anhand einer Stichprobe von 334 Seelsorger:innen zu ermitteln. Die Ergebnisse zeigen, dass positive Haupteffekte von Zentralität der Religiosität (Z-Skala) auf psychische Belastung (CES-D) und Wohlbefinden (PANAS) durch emotionale Kompetenzen (SEK-27) sowie Spiritual Struggles (RSS) mediiert werden. Dabei erweist sich das modellierte Zusammenhangsmuster als stabil über beide Outcome-Variablen hinweg - sowohl psychische Belastung (CES-D) als auch Wohlbefinden (PANAS). Es lässt sich insofern folgern, dass in einer Krisensituation religiöse oder spirituelle Konflikte in der Arbeit von Seelsorger:innen auftreten können, die sie dabei behindern, auf ihre Religiosität/Spiritualität als Ressource für ihr Wohlbefinden zurückzugreifen. Durch Nutzung emotionaler Kompetenzen ist es Seelsorger:innen jedoch möglich, sich auf ihre Religiosität/ Spiritualität als Ressource für besseres Wohlbefinden stützen zu können. | ||
| 520 | |a This cross-sectional study aims to describe the effects of religiosity/spirituality (cen-trality of religiosity and spiritual struggles) on psychological burden as well as well-being of pastoral caregivers in Switzerland and Germany during the COVID-19 pandemic lockdown from March to June 2020. Based on an adaptation of the vulnerability-stress-model we designed SEMs to investigate the effects of religiosity/spirituality on psychological burden and well-being in a sample of 334 pastoral caregivers. Results show that positive main effects of centrality of religios-ity (CRS) on psychological burden (CES-D) and well-being (PANAS) are mediated by emotional competencies (SEC-27) as well as by spiritual struggles (RSS). The pattern of the model associ-ations remains stable with regard to both outcomes - psychological burden (CES-D) as well as well-being (PANAS). It can be concluded that, in a situation of crisis, in the work of pastoral caregivers religious or spiritual struggles might arise hindering the caregivers from relying on their religiosity/spirituality as a resource for their well-being. However, making use of emotional competencies might help caregivers to rely on their religiosity/spirituality as a resource for their psychological well-being to the better. | ||
