Measurement of the branching fraction ratios R(D+) and R(D[ast]+) using muonic Ο decays
The branching fraction ratios of Β―π΅0βπ·+β’πββ’Β―ππ and Β―π΅0βπ·*+β’πββ’Β―ππ decays are measured with respect to their muonic counterparts, using a data sample corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 2.0 fbβ1 collected by the LHCb experiment in proton-proton collisions at βπ =13 TeV. The reconstructed fin...

| Summary: | The branching fraction ratios of Β―π΅0βπ·+β’πββ’Β―ππ and Β―π΅0βπ·*+β’πββ’Β―ππ decays are measured with respect to their muonic counterparts, using a data sample corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 2.0 fbβ1 collected by the LHCb experiment in proton-proton collisions at βπ =13 TeV. The reconstructed final states are formed by combining π·+ mesons with πββπββ’Β―ππβ’ππ candidates, where the π·+ is reconstructed via the π·+ βπΎββ’π+β’π+ decay. The results are π
β‘(π·+)=0.249Β±0.043Β±0.047, π
β‘(π·*+)=0.402Β±0.081Β±0.085, where the first uncertainties are statistical and the second systematic. The two measurements have a correlation coefficient of β0.39 and are compatible with the standard model. |
