Test of lepton flavor universality with B0s β πβ+β’ββ decays
Lepton flavor universality in rare π βπ transitions is tested for the first time using π΅0π meson decays. The measurements are performed using πβ’π collision data collected by the LHCb experiment between 2011 and 2018, corresponding to a total integrated luminosity of 9 fbβ1. Branching fraction ratios...

| Summary: | Lepton flavor universality in rare π βπ transitions is tested for the first time using π΅0π meson decays. The measurements are performed using πβ’π collision data collected by the LHCb experiment between 2011 and 2018, corresponding to a total integrated luminosity of 9 fbβ1. Branching fraction ratios between the π΅0π βπβ’π+β’πβ and π΅0π βπβ’π+β’πβ decays are measured in three regions of dilepton mass squared, π2, with 0.1<π2<1.1, 1.1 <π2 <6.0, and 15<π2<19 GeV2/π4. The results agree with the standard model expectation of lepton flavor universality. |
