Zusammenfassung:“To us the Celebration was Something Very Special”: Insights on an Empirical Study on the Joint Public Baptism Celebration of the Protestant Church in the City of Kassel. Lately a new practice of regional churches has developed: celebrating the joint baptism of a number children / adults in the open air feasting together afterwards. The authors show that this practice supports a number of dimensions of baptism which are experienced more intensely than in the usual congregational practices.
