| Summary: | Die Studie bietet ein neues Modell zur Messung und Klassifikation gewaltloser und gewaltsamer politischer Konflikte und gibt auf Basis quantitativen Daten einen innovativen Einblick in das globale Konfliktgeschehen für den Zeitraum zwischen 1945 und 2005. Im Mittelpunkt des Theorieteils der Arbeit steht die Entwicklung eines neuen Verständnisses politischer Konflikte als soziale Systeme. So werden unterschiedlche Formen politischer Konflikte bestimm- und typologisierbar. Im Empierteil werden nach einer Untersuchung des globalen Konfliktgeschehens auch die Dynamiken politischer Konflikte analysiert und Einflussfaktoren bestimmt. The study offers a new model for the measuring and classification of both, non-violent and violent politcal conflicts. Furthermore, the study gives new insights in the appearance and behaviour of political conflicts by the basis of new statistical data. In the focus of the theoretical part is the development of a new understanding of political conflicts as social systems. This give the opportunity to identify and classify different forms of political conflicts. The empirical part of the study describes firstly the pattern of global political conflict between 1945 and 2005 and analysis secondly the influencing factors of conflict dynamics. |
