| Summary: | Purpose of review: The aim of this review is to examine the medical literature published in 2011-2012 on reports of sexual disorders in infertile couples. - Recent findings: Ten articles on sexual disorders in infertile couples were traced. The results were very inconsistent, and the response rates of the studies were low. - Summary: Divergent samples and assessment instruments, together with low or unknown responder rates, mean that there are no valid findings about sexual disorders in infertile couples. Further research will have to find an appropriate way of addressing these methodological shortcomings. Recent studies on infertile men and their sexuality are definitely underrepresented. |
