| Riassunto: | In the 1970s and 1980s, the New Women’s Movement gave rise to a whole series of feminist therapy projects for women in Germany, accompanied by numerous publications about feminist therapy. The article examines the notion of the subject and the political ideas of feminist therapeutic approaches from the perspective of gender history. Feminist therapy critically distanced itself from the norm of self-expression that had become established in the context of the psycho-boom. The therapists promoted an alternative form of female subjectivation characterized by women relating to other women. |
