Die Sammeledition(2 Bde)bietet den Text der bislang publizierten mehr als 2500 alt- und reichsaramäischen Inschriften (10.-3. Jh. v. Chr.), deren Verbreitungsgebiet von Kleinasien, Ägypten, Syrien-Palästina bis nach Afghanistan reicht. Sie dient als Referenzband für den Konkordanzteil und ermöglicht eine schnelle Einsicht in den Gesamtkontext sämtlicher Belegstellen. Zu jedem Text werden die wichtigsten Editionen sowie weiterführende Literaturhinweise gegeben. Damit ist der Fachwelt erstmals der gesamte Textbestand der alt- und reichsaramäischen Epigraphik in einem Band zugänglich. Die Konkordanz (Band 1) analysiert den Wortbestand der Inschriften nach Lexemen geordnet.
